“G.I. Fleezy” has an uncanny ability to freestyle on spot and kill it. A rapper since grade school, he was street to the bone. Raised by a single mother and grandmother, he knew there were no free passes in the dangerous neighborhood he lived in. Death and destruction ruled the streets and gave him an appreciation for life. His skill with a mike helped him chart new territory in the gritty reality in one of Indiana’s most dangerous neighborhoods. He was influenced by artists like Too-Short,Gettoboys and NWA. In the streets, life is precious, balancing the ethics and morals, the black and the white into a grey zone and a gift of material for the melodious story-telling that marks hip hop. Stories were not pretty, they were real. Radio stations couldn’t get enough of the fresh kid from Gary, Indiana.  
 
Listening to his heart, G.I. Fleezy decided to pursue a music career, but he knew that raw talent is never enough, so he and his best friend attended “Full Sail University” in Orlando, Florida to learn the technical side of music. An audio engineering education empowered him to take his beats to a higher level.  
 
G.I. Fleezy and his friends formed a group called “BandKamp” in 2006. “BandKamp” brought fame and success in the overseas market and fueled the hunger to break through the tightly controlled U.S. market. The success only brought the need to create more, record more and be more. 
 
In 2009, G.I. Fleezy released his first solo album entitled “It All Makes Sense”. The album is a fusion of the genius of his childhood heroes. His philosophy guides his work “My musical philosophy is that regardless of genre, great music should always deliver, giving each listener a personal gift regardless of demographic or belief.” He believes that music with merit stands the test of time. G.I. Fleezy is currently in the studio recording his second solo album entitled “Don’t Point The Finger”. His viral presence is leading the Internet passion for G.I. Fleezy. America has spoken
