Dear Broken Heart has been formed in 2008 when Julien Bouffard and Kevin Turmel worked together to produce an album of 14 songs that has never been published. The band just couldn't be because of the lack of musicians to perform the songs. In 2011, Julien had a fateful encounter with Dominic Rousseau for some musical project which gave an idea to Dominic: remake some of the band's original they produced back in 2008. This event led to the new start of the band. Dear broken heart was and will always be the name of this band because it reflects well all the feelings we share with our compositions. After the great idea of Dominic and Julien to reform the band, they decided to go and try to get Kevin back into the band because he was really talented. In 2012, the 3 members made their research to find some good musicians that would share their passion. Later on they found out Guillaume Bolduc who was a member of Dominic's first band. A few weeks later they finally felt on the last member they needed to bring Dear Broken Heart back to life, his name is Michael Dodier. The roles of each band member have been distributed with care: Dominic Rousseau perform unclean vocals (scream); Julien Bouffard is playing guitar and perform back vocals; Kevin Turmel plays the drums and sings clean vocals; Guillaume Bolduc plays the bass and finally, Michael Dodier is the other guitarist and he performs back vocals as well. They finished recording their very first album in Julien Bouffard's studio in 2012 and after a long wait for everything to be set and done, the album is now on sale in iTunes. Furthermore, a Lyrics Video of the song "This Is My Goodbye" is now available on Youtube. Be sure to follow the band because there are a bunch of shows coming up soon! 
 
-Dear Broken Heart a vu le jour en 2008 lorsque Julien Bouffard et Kevin Turmel ce sont reunis pour composer un album de 14 chansons qui n'a jamais ete publie, le groupe avait ensuite cesse de fonctionner a cause du manque de musiciens pour performer les chansons. En 2011, Julien a fait la connaissance de Dominic Rousseau pour des projets musicaux qui ont par la suite mene a l'idee de Dominic de reprendre les compositions de 2008, ce qui a par la suite mene au nouveau depart du groupe. Dear Broken Heart est reste et restera le nom officiel du groupe puisqu'il decrit bien les sentiments partages dans les compositions. Après que Dominic et Julien eux l’idee de reformer le groupe, ils ont decide d'aller rechercher Kevin puisqu'il etait l'un des fondateurs très talentueux du groupe. En 2012, les gars ont fait leurs recherches pour trouver de bons musiciens qui partageraient cette passion avec plaisir. Ils ont par la suite trouve Guillaume Bolduc qui faisait partie du premier groupe a Dominic, celui-ci performe la basse. Ensuite ils ont decouverts Micha el Dodier, ce qui a conclu la formation du groupe. Les roles du groupe ont ete attribues avec soin c'est-a-dire: Dominic Rousseau fait les unclean vocals, Julien Bouffard la guitare et les back vocals, Kevin Turmel joue la batterie et chante les cleans vocals, Guillaume Bolduc joue la basse et Michael Dodier joue la guitare et fait aussi des back vocale. Ils ont fini d'enregistrer leur tout premier album au studio de Julien Bouffard en 2012 et après une longue attente pour que tout soit en place et pret, l'album est maintenant en vente sur iTunes. De plus, un Lyrics Video de la chanson "This Is My Goodbye" est maintenant disponible sur YouTube. Suivez bien le groupe de pret puisqu'il aura plusieurs spectacles a venir pour bientot!
