After moving to London in 2001, having grown up in South Africa, Tinsley spent years playing sideman for all manner of bands and musical projects whilst quietly crafting something all his own. 
Bringing together a tapestry of folk, americana & alt-rock, what began as a bedroom-recording project soon worked its way into the pubs and clubs of London, where Tinsley found a ready audience for his tales of love and life. With a voice that is broken and hopeful in equal measure, Tinsley manages to craft songs that are hauntingly beautiful and deeply affecting.
