New Orleans native John Michael Rouchell has never been one to rest on his past musical endeavors. This year is no different with a new project with some of the city's finest young musicians, hitting New Orleans soon.Let me preface this post by saying that I’ve always been a fan of John Michael Rouchell’s music. As an independent singer-songwriter he made his rounds at all of the local bars and festivals and toured up the coast. But when I  listened to the first two singles from TYSSON, thats when I knew this man would be a star. 
 
The band has crafted a contemporary pop sound that is bold, unique, and in his words, “slightly left of center.” Replacing the acoustic guitar with ProTools, they managed to create music that is genuinely fun to listen to–mass marketable without being pedantic.
