PGSB is a 3-piece group hailing from Norfolk/VA Beach, Virginia. They can be most easily labeled as post-rock, but the band derives influences from a number of genres including shoegaze, drone, concrete, noise, minimalism, doom metal, electronic, avant-garde, ambient, etc. For about the first quarter of the band's existence, they focused primarily on the completion of their debut, self-produced EP, "Whirlwind, Flash, and Heat," which is available for free through the band's Myspace and various online blogs/music communities. As of now the band is in the late stages of writing for their first, full length LP (predicted to be done in December), while playing shows here and there. Be sure to check back for updates and catch the band at a performance.
