Formed under the name of "Metathanaton" in spring of 2010 but due to another band that had the same name we changed ours And used for a short time the name "Blasphemahus"(Blasphemy + mahe(battle)= The one who battles in blasphemic ways).Band's line up in the first days was Distaster on Bass and vocals, Alex in lead guitar and L-Drac on the drums. Later Hayras join the band to be the guitar sidekick to Alex. But shortly after Hayras arrived Alex deicided to leave the band cause he wanted to play different type of music.Under the name "Blasphemahus" we recorded two songs for a split E.P. with "Mortuus Sum" but untill now we haven't managed to release it. After that we changed our name to "Warthorn" cause it sounds stronger as name and apart from that, sounds like "Quorthon", and we all are great fans of "Bathory" so it is definitely the best name for us.Unfortunately Disaster had to leave too cause he had very busy schedule with his other band (Omega) and had to fulfil his millitary service at the Hellenic Forces(army).The stabilization of our line up was alwaysa problem but in autumn of 2012 Giannis Chris and Adhon(Bassist and Vocalist at Death Herald) joined Warthorn as guitarist and bass vocalist. At this time we are rehearsing and working for our first ep and hope that we will release it sooner or later. Stay tune for more information and SEE YOU IN HELL F**KERS!
