A dubtechno project by Peter Fanai from Wiesbaden, Germany. At the age of 5, he started with classical piano lessons at the conservatorium. Aged 13, he got his first synthesizer, resulting in an affection to electronic music. Around 1995 he got a groundbreaking mixtape with tracks from Sahko, Basic Channel and Peacefrog. Already in love with electronic music, this minimalistic and dubby tunes changed everything. He started to create his own tracks. After some releases with different styles as Peter Fanai, he came up with Basicnoise for pure minimalistic dub techno. He released on lables like Schall-Netlabel, Ornithopter, Entropy-Records, Deep in Dub, Sound Source, Clear Recordings and Klangschleife.
