Hi! My name is Tara and I am a singer in New York. I am finally recording my first big album, and it is super exciting! My musical influences are quite varied because of the work I've done - from classical, to gospel and blues, but I especially love 1930's and 1940's swing music. This album will be an eclectic mix of a few of these genres. I have picked out a stellar group of musicians, and together we are going to make an amazing album (and all of our mothers proud!) But I need your help! There are a lot of expenses that go into recording an album- arrangements, rehearsals, engineers, lots of high tech machinery that lights up and does magical stuff, musicians- they are my friends and all, but they have bills too, so I can't have them work for free. And then, of course, there is designing and printing the final CD. Your contributions will help with all of these costs, as well as help finish the album. Whoever you are, I would love for you to help me Kickstart my project! No contribution is too small, and just passing this site along to a friend is a great way to help spread the word.
