'Looking at this World' was not a planned album. Although a couple of the songs were brought to the table fully formed, the majority grew out of a riff or idea and were jammed out in my old kitchen and structured into songs with both of us writing parts. We would get together on Thursdays really not knowing what would happen, and once the structure was sketched out, we would record the basic track immediately. Overdubs were approached in a similarly free-form fashion, written then put down quickly, before we were able to get too used to them. All of this stuff was then contained by Ali Chant in the mixing. This is a spontaneous and collaborative work. Hope you like it. ..
