If you have to put one word to describe Sandro Monte then versatility is probably the best way to describe him both as an artist and as a Dj. With his remixes and original productions he crosses through house in all
its forms.
Thanks to his family, while growing up, music always played a big part in Sandro磗 life. Long days at home with the computer making sounds developed into making songs and soon he was discovered, getting his
first record deal in 2007 with his first single “Don磘 Mess”. It caused quite a buzz and was played by dj磗 like Erick Morillo and Deep Dish.
I
n 2009 things started to get really interesting. Sandro remixed Sour Grapes “Stay For Now”, the mix stayed in the Beatport chart for more than 6 weeks and got heavy support from all the big name.. The same year
also included a collaboration with fellow swede Albin Myers resulting in “Somewhere”, released on EDX磗 label PinkStar. It made it to the top 20 on the electro chart on Beatport and has been featured on over
20 compilations worldwide.
Over the years Sandro has had the opportunity to play all across Europe and in the US and Sandro is well known for his energetic dj performances and total dedication to give the people on the dance floor the best
possible experience while at the same time pleasing the ears of the gifted with intelligent mixes, special re-edits and clever use of acapellas.
Fast forward to 2011 and Sandro is on fire with his new single “Simple Man”, made together with Mischa Daniels and swedish singer/rapper J-Son, recently released on Armada Music & Ultra Records as a part of
Mischa磗 debut album “Where You Wanna Go”.
Recent works includes a remix from the same album where Sandro had the opportunity to re-work the vocals of Tara McDonald, vocalist for artists like David Guetta, Axwell and Armand Helden for example.
On top of that, Sandro is about to enter the big league with an upcoming release on Erick Morillos own imprint Subliminal Records where Sandro teams up with no one else than the two legends Shawnee Taylor and Denis The Menace!
