Seven the General**** born and Raised on the West Side of Detroit, Michigan... 
Detroit has been known to produce incrdedible musicians from R&B to rock to hip-hop with such acts as Aaliyah, Kid Rock, D-12, Kem, Dwelle, Slum Village, Rock Bottom, Eminem, Sista Peace, Big Proof, Trick Trick, B-Down the Boss, StreetLordz/Chedda Boys and many others. This legacy of music has actually kept Detroit alive if you asked me, because it has given the citizens of Detroit something to take pride in. 
 
The new artist on the Detroit music scene that is taking everyboyd by storm continuing to keep the music legacy alive in Detroit is none other than SEVEN THE GENERAL****. Since arriving on Detroit music scene he has recorded with almost every major artist in Detroit from K-Deezy,Stretch Money, Al Nuke, StreetLord Juan, J Oneal, Rock Bottom ,K'Jon and the LIST GOES ON...Seven's work ethic is compared to "Lil Wayne" he has a catalog that boasts over 70 features with Detroit artist among others..He was also featured in the documentary "The Murder City Detroit 100years of crime & violence" which has drawn national attention. His debut album 'Bout Time' featuring his former label mate swamp has drawn nation attention as well from the two hit singles "We in the Building" and "Young Boy Fresh". With both songs in heavy rotation on local radio stations, it took him from the "new rapper in the city" to one of the "top rappers in the city". With his rap label Legendz Entertainment strongly behind him, his radio singles were followed up with his music videos for both, further cementing his status as a household name not only in Detroit but on a national level. With him having "much" mainstream success with his debut singles, he released his underground single, which was a street anthem hit for Detroit entitled "IM FROM 7 MILE". 
Seven's collaboration with rising R&B sensation K'Jon on his (Universal distributed) album "I GET AROUND" is taking the nation by storm. K'Jon's Hit single "On the Ocean" is blazing radio stations across the country. He has followed that hit single up with a new hit "On Everything" featuring his hometown road dog SEVEN THE GENERAL****, accompanied with a Darren Brown DM fims video exclusively filmed in Detroit. 
In 2010 Seven the General is planning the release of his long awaited debut solo album "Sun Tzu of the City" in addition to an assault of mixtapes...The Sanctum Santorim first..then "the KILLYOSELF" mixtape vol.1 also the highly anticipated follow up to the "WINDOWS TO MY SOUL" soundtrack (Book by Yusef Shakur that also details how they both met in the MICHIGAN REFORMATORY (MDOC) . the "BASTARDS OF THE PARTY" mixtape is being recorded with Comrad /Author Yusef Bunchy Shakur and a new soundtrack to Yusef's book as well 
Seven Has performed with 36 Mafia at the Eastern Market, Young Jeezy @ the Filmore (formerly the State Theater), Seven performed for over 10,000 people at the 2006 summer jam @ the State Fair Grounds, Has performed at many Charity and Corporate sponsored Venues, such as FM 98 WJLB's Coats for Kids every year, COTS homeless shelter CHRISTMAS TOY give away...Central high School Gun Awareness...and WJLB's What's Next on the Menu concert....2008..along with various other charities design to redirect misguided youth.. With the work he has already done, plan on doing in 2010 and beyond, Seven's reputation will definitely cement him as the next hip-hop legend Detroit has given birth to... The Urbanite..Newspaper Voice of the Urban
