一队来自加拿大的独立乐队A Northern Chorus，他们组建于1999年，到2003年才有一张唱片《Spirit Flags》在本土公司Sonic Unyon旗下问世。对他们了解的不多，看来并不是一个多么走红的团体。不过听到今年发表的这张新片，倒是着实打动了我。大多数Indie-pop类团体，在音乐上都力求简捷，而在A Northern Chorus的作品之中，你却能听到婉约清澈的意境中飘荡着激情与悲怆的吉他，层层迭至，如同置身于一个绚丽缤纷的梦中。脆弱伤感的歌声，将音乐中时而迸发的冲动不经意地拉回到那个延绵不绝的倾诉之中。 
 
A Northern Chorus is a Canadian band from Hamilton, Ontario known for their mellow tunes. They have released three records on the Sonic Unyon label, Before We All Go to Pieces, Spirit Flags and Bitter Hands Resign. Before We All Go to Pieces was originally released by Black Mountain Music.
