Harel Skaat ( ) born August 8, 1981, in Kfar Sava, Israel is a singer of Iraqi Jewish descent who quickly rose to fame as the runner-up of the second season of “Kokhav Nolad” ("A Star is Born", an American Idol-like series show) in 2004.
