INGREDIENTS 
 
Jim Antonellis: Brother-in-arms with Hallal since '94, beginning with Cryin' Licks and thru two generations of MHB. His shuffle grooves and 4-to-the-floor stomps recall Chicago blues drummers Ted Harvey and Fred Below. Influences include Gene Krupa and Charlie Watts. 
 
Robert DeCorte: Longtime jam partner and vinyl-hunting bud of guitarist Schluntz. Joined the band in '08 and adds his melodic thump to the new album's bonus track. Influences include Little Feat and Grateful Dead. Also plays with Rhode Island jam band institution, Loose Change. 
 
Mike Hallal: "Helluva songwriter," says bluesman Jimmy D. Lane of Hallal. Early influences include Beatles, Stones and Leadbelly. Today it's more Charley Patton and Black Keys. Live at Lizard Lounge is the 9th full-length release featuring his original songs. 
 
Chris Schluntz: The current lineup's "electrifying" sound emanates mainly from his burning axe work, as heard on new album cuts like Doctor Blues and Cortez the Killer, and his A Minor Jam. Vinyl collection includes Black Sabbath, Black Keys and Drive by Truckers. 
 
Jesse Flack (album guest): On loan from Jim's Big Ego, Flack puts his soulful slap on the album's main set. His turn on slow burner Maintain is one of the disc's highlights.
