Profile:A defining element of the Solo Andata sound is isolation and separation. In mid-2005, Paul Fiocco and Kane Ikin literally separated and began working in isolation. Paul moved to Stockholm, Sweden while Kane remained in Perth, Australia. Using laptops and the internet, they began the process that would eventually produce "Fyris Swan" - a piece of works that recalls the essence of the avant-garde and free jazz with its deep loops and twisted drones while alluding to the classic non-symphonic film scores.
