In spring of 2012 Riccardo and Claudio, a guitarist and a drummer, met through an advert. Soon their shared desire to form a Post Rock band leads them to collaborate and look for new members. Alnea start their travel in September 2012; thanks to the composition of one of their best pieces, Riccardo gets back in touch with the bassist Simone, who, at the same time, was trying to form a band with the guitarist/singer Umberto. Tired of their past musical experiences, the four members of the band find the right feeling in the shared desire to play an ambient, evocative, moving, Rock, capable of conveying sensations and emotions chosing a more instrumental arrangement. Everything is obviously made possible by the great friendship that soon tightly bounds their hearts to their music
