Originally created in 2012 as a solo project to focus on very personal subjects, These Bashful Claws is the brainchild of Charlie O’Neil, an independent singer-songwriter in Colorado. In the summer of 2012 after O’Neil’s first year of college, These Bashful Claws self-released “There’s a Fire in Your Mind,” an exploration of losing the people who mean the most to you. This album was kept very quiet, due to the nature of it’s content and it’s personal meaning to O’Neil. In February of 2014, These Bashful Claws released a second album entitled, “Stories.” Stories is a collection of thoughts and ideas gathered over the year and half after the release of the first album. After the release of “Stories,” O’Neil decided to promote the project more fully and put together a line of house shows in Colorado. “Stories” has been well received by local radio stations and record stores and O’Neil plans to take the project as far as it will go.
