My heart will always belong to Prague, Montreal, Sydney and London....and wherever it may next lead! I was born in prague and under the iron curtain we left everything behind and took our chances through the backyard of eastern europe. My dad worked for the police as an electro engineer and would have never been allowed to go out West. But our gamble paid off and we made our way into past Austrian borders where with the help of the C.I.A (yes not just in the movies) we made our to Canada. I grew up in Montreal where I had most of my upbringing and lived a relatively normal life ...meaning I did lots of sport, had girlfiends, went to school and so on ...but when I was 16 Michael Hutchence changed my life forever. It was a grey winters afternoon and Arsenial Hall was presenting the American Music Awards and after the commercial he introduced INXS...all huddled around the drumkit as soon as they started playing the first notes of Suicide Blond they turned towards the audience and as Micheal grabbed the microphone to sing the first notes ...it was like lightning struck me on that day ....I knew that no this is not what I want to do ...but this is what I had to do in life ....I just knew this was my future. But years would go by before I even gathered enough courage to break out of the mold that everyone saw me in. And when I finally took the decision to follow my dreams everything started falling into place...meaning I started loosing everything I had in Montreal so that I would be free to leave. I wanted to go to Sydney...why?...because I just knew I had too. I arrived with a guitar I couldn't play and a bag full of dreams really and said ..''right ..here I am, I'm a rock star...and then things gradually started happening...and as amazing as my time in Sydney was I just knew I had to move on to London. Along the way this meant doing a lot of horrible jobs to raise enough money to make it to the next destination but when you're following a dream it is all worth it. In London I tried all sorts of things musically and was really just looking for an identity. I played with friends in bands and so on but it wasn't till I found myself on my own that I started discovering my own sound. In the mean time I began reading more books about energy, the universe the law of attraction as so on and my life began changing ..things were starting to happen ( books life The Power is whithin you by Louise Hay and Paulo Cuelho's Alchemist and The Secret by Rhonda Byrne really help shape who I was). I had reached a point were I felt that I was ready as a person as an artist and with the songs that I had....I just didn't know how to get to the next stage....that is till Ben Trigg showed up in my life....he had just arrived from Glastonbury and was supposed to do some arrangements for me. It was a lovely summers day and playing the songs on my piano in my bedroom just took Ben by surprise....here I was thinking that he probably thinks I'm a looser and he tells me that he has played with the biggest names out there and so few have that magic ...and that I apparently have that magic and that we have to make an album.....when he mentioned the word ALBUM...I just knew tha's how I would get to the next stage. I have met so many amazing people along this journey that have come to assist me along the way and I am grateful to all of them and in 2011 I will launch my debut album ' Life In Numbers '.
