Frank + Derol are a newly introduced Indie Pop duo under Interscope Records. The duo, comprised of Codi Caraco and Brandi Cyrus, were founded earlier this year, but just released their first single. If you think the person on the right, or the second name, looks (sounds) familiar, you’re right. It’s Miley Cyrus’s sister. I, myself, was skeptical but I gave the song a listen and I’m pretty impressed, she is making real music here. Caraco handled the delectably catchy vocals on this track, but I’m excited to hear Brandi’s voice in future releases. The song features beautiful hooks over a deep drum focused beat, definitely a great listen. Check out the song below and hopefully this duo can help remove the awful stain Miley has put on the Cyrus name.
