Alex is a dedicated producer, pulling all-nighters to find the right sound for a synth pad or kick drum while intermittently writing up his dissertation for a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Stanford. Lilly writes hooks and code and runs seventy miles a week; she works out lyrics in her head during walks to the more commercial parts of downtown PDX. The two of them met at Stanford in 2006 and formed the band Hey Young Believer, which released an LP and had a couple original tracks featured on The Real World. 
 
After about three years, they started to get along, and discovered a mutual fondness for SF's minimal techno and club scenes. Alex recently moved to Portland, where the two play/DJ all-night house parties and monthly gigs in clubs. They just released a 5 song EP, available as a free download on their Facebook and SoundCloud pages.
